Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Israeli state announced its intentions to immediately annex a large portion of the West Bank. This move is the latest in the continuing ethnic cleansing of Palestine by Zionist settlement. The long list of recent atrocities includes confiscating Palestinian medical equipment and the police murder of Eyad Rawhi Al-Halaq, an unarmed autistic Palestinian man, in Jerusalem.
The fight against police brutality and oppression in the U.S. and Palestine are intimately connected. Why is Netanyahu choosing now to put forward annexation plans? What do they mean? What kind of fightback is being organized and how can we in the U.S. stand in solidarity? These questions and more will be addressed at this forum.
